The Mother Plucker Feather Company nestled in the out skirts of downtown Los Angeles with easy access from several nearby freeways, as well as rooftop parking.

You will discover a showroom packed with color upon color of fabulous feather boas, small to extra long lush Ostrich plumes and every other sort of feather and feather trim available in the market today.

Owner Willy Zelowitz, heads the staff. His knowledge of birds and their feathers will astound even the most accomplished costumers and designers.

His manager of design and production, Lelan Berner is an Emmy award winning costume designer; with a strong background in costume, prop and accessory design and fabrication. She has worked on hundreds of tv commercials, movies and stage productions.  With her attention to detail and ability to easily tackle the most difficult of projects, Lelan easily interoperates the client’s ideas from concept to completion.

New on board is 8 time Emmy Nominee Warden Neil. Warden is collaborating with Willy, Lelan & the design team to create new cutting edge feather accessories.

A full team of fabricators includes feather artists,  sewing machine operators, pattern makers, fine hand craftsmen, costume prop and lingerie department.

The feather art department is always busy, whether they are making

beautiful florals, (Mother Plucker has a complete line of feather accessories) exotic Ostrich fans, centerpieces for event planners, Brazilian dance costumes or even upholstering the ceiling of an elegant ballroom with white goose feathers.

The Mother Plucker Angel wings are the finest available anywhere. Sixty pairs of the custom wings were used for Jim Carrey’s 2006 MTV Awards.

You will then understand why this is the place everyone from the who’s who in Hollywood, to the little ladies with their red & purple hats come for their treasure.

We have also created product for hundreds of production companies, major designers, music groups, recording companies, retail boutiques, circuses all over the world.

Our prop department has designed and fabricated props for many movies (client list mentions a few)as well as for clothing and Lingerie designers.
