There are no regulations which govern or prohibit the shipping of feathers within
the United States, which means we ship to all 50 states.
we always try to ship orders as quickly as possible. Our usual processing time for orders place on our website is no longer than 3 business days unless an item is backordered, or if our production room has a longer than normal processing time. If an item is backordered,
we will notify you immediately and provide you with the anticipated timeline.
Prior to shipping we steam and dry all feathers to help improve their general appearance. We will usually pack the feathers a little loosely so they don't become flattened or damaged during shipment. If you desire to save money on your shipping charges, you can request that we pack your feathers as tight as possible, and you will need to again steam them with a fabric steamer when you receive them.
Most of our items can be fit into standard boxes. However, our Angel Wings and a few other larger items require custom boxes. We make these custom boxes here to specification based on the items you order. Our minimum charge, per box, for customs boxes is $50 up to a maximum of $200.
We charge a handling fee of $4.50 for all of our orders which covers picking, steaming, bagging, and boxing your items for shipment.
We ship standard items using the following carriers:
USPS for smaller items.
UPS is our default shipper for small, medium, and large orders.
FedEx for larger items
Freight for larger oversized items that exceed the dimensions allowed by standard carriers
o If we need to send your order by freight, the shipping time can be delayed longer than standard carriers.
o We will do our best to get you the best freight quote, and help you track its delivery
process until the item arrives to you.
